Chinese gadget maker, Oukitel, claims that their phone is unlike any other phone on the market, today. The Oukitel K10000 is a new smartphone that is making the battery life of today’s top phone competitor’s battery life appear non-existent. With four times the charge of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and five times the charge of the iPhone 6, it is the “world’s largest battery capacity smartphone”, according to the company.
In March of this year, Apple submitted a patent application for a hydrogen fuel cell– in hopes of giving its phone longer battery life. The technology would power next-generation iPhones for a week. The patent was published on September 3rd.
Charging the Oukitel K10000 for three hours and a half hour can last users 15 days- with “normal use”. Oukitel says that what sets them apart for competitors is that they are conscious of, both, program and app management, as well as, actual battery capacity.
The phone can even be used to charge other devices. This product is currently being sold on Gear Best for $240. Shipping will begin in January.
With 2016 around the corner, the aggressive quest for innovate software and designs are to be expected. From a business perspective, will Oukitel’s K10000 battery be enough to directly compete with top brands such as iPhone and Samsung’s family of galaxy. The determining factor lies within the device’s offered phone features.
