Have you ever had to walk alone down a dark street, in a parking lot or parking deck at night? If so, you’ve probably found yourself rushing to get to your car- which can be quite daunting. To bring a sense of security to those who’ve ever had similar experiences, developers, Chris Hulls and Alex Haro came together in 2008, to launch a location-based service called “Life360”.
Once downloaded, the Life360 locator app allows you to view your family members on a map, communicate with them, and receive alerts when your loved ones arrive at home, school or work. It lets users save their favorite locations so that friends and family can get automatic alerts when one comes and go. It provides simplified communication and peace of mind right at your fingertips.
What It Does?
The Life360 app allows you to group your connections by keeping family & friends separate with Circles. The Family Circle is the default, but you can create more for the other people in your life. Babysitters? Dog walkers? Work? The options are limitless. You have that same flexibility in determining when to remove a person from a circle.
Additionally, all Circle information is dedicated to that specific Circle so you control what messaging, location sharing and check ins are shared within each circle.
