The Burger Joint is a casual dine-in restaurant located in Downtown Atlanta in the Heart of Atlantic Station. Before entering the line to order food, a colorful menu is displayed on the wall. In large, bold print it states that all of the meat is cooked on an open flame grill. The restaurant offers a wide variety of options for those who like to be creative with their meals. The burger joint cooks beef, turkey, chicken, and veggie burgers; a variety of cheeses; a variety of toppings- from bacon to pineapples; onion rings and fries; and a large selection of drinks and shakes.
The Burger Joint’s is not like your traditional dine-in experience because customers have to stand in line to place orders; nevertheless, my experience with their customer service was really good.
When visiting The Burger Joint, I decided to try “The Burger” with Swiss cheese; I noticed was a bit undercooked. They were very respectful and quick to help. Once the food finished cooking, I was brought out another burger with a large chocolate & peanut butter cookie.
As far as pricing, The Burger Joint is more expensive compared to fast food places, such as Wendy’s. Prices are 2 to 3 times higher than fast food restaurants. Customers do not pay for a ‘combo’; instead, you pay per item: burgers, your choice in sides (fries and/or onion rings), drinks, and etc.
My overall experience with The Burger Joint was a 7. Again, all of the meat is prepared on an open flame grill. The meat is lightly seasoned but still has a good flavor. For those who are wanting to make healthier choices but still enjoy tasty burgers, The Burger Joint is the spot for you.
