Elder abuse refers to intentional or neglectful acts by a caregiver or “trusted” individual that lead to or may lead to, the harm of a vulnerable elder. Every year, an estimated 2.1 million older Americans are victims of physical, psychological, or other forms of abuse and neglect. (American Psychological Association). June 15th is Elder Abuse Awareness Day. Please help raise awareness and keep seniors safe.
